COURSE

The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2006. The MBA programme is of two years (full time) compromising four semesters, afiliated to Anna University Chennai and approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.

CURRICULUM

The course offers specialization in Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, systems and Operations. The curriculum includes subjects of basic management concepts & tools in the First semester, Functional areas of management in the second semester, Elective subjects from two different disciplines and theories related to Good Corporate Governance in the third semester and Special contemporary concepts in the fourth semester along with a project work. A well established computer lab with state of art computer systems and necessary software related to Business Applications and Professional Skill Development is available for training as per curriculum. Necessary and sufficient Books, Journals & Magazines of various authors of Global arena is available in the department library.

FACULTY

The Department is having faculty from Industry and Academics enriched with research experience. The faculty members emphasize on knowledge creation, through collaborative classroom interactions, case studies and presentations.
